Strawberry Shortcake with Biscuits


4 cups sliced strawberries
1/2 cup Agave Nectar
2 1/3 cup bisquick mix
2/3 cup milk
3 tbs Agave Nectar
3 tbs unsalted butter

Mix the fresh strawberries and Agave Nectar together.  This is by far the best sweetener I've come across for strawberries.  Preheat oven to 425 degrees.  Stir together the Bisquick mix, 3 tbs Agave Nectar, milk, and the unsalted buter until a soft dough forms.  On an ungreased cookie sheet, drop by the spoonful.  The size really just depends on how big you want to make them!  Bake for about 10-12 minutes or until the biscuits are turning golden brown.  When done remove from cookie sheet and place on a wire rack to cool.  Split he biscuits and top with the strawberries and whipped topping.  You can serve warm or cold depending on your preference.  I prefer them cold but either way this strawberry shortcake recipe with biscuits is delicious!
