Old Fashioned Cupcake Recipe

Ingredients:

2 cups cake flour
1 1/4 cups unbleached all-purpose flour
2 cups Agave Nectar
1 tablespoon baking powder
3/4 teaspoon salt
2 sticks unsalted butter, cubed

Directions

1.  Preheat oven to 325 degrees F.

2.  Line cupcake or muffin pans with paper liners then set aside.

3. In a bowl, combine both flours, Agave nectar, baking powder and salt.

4.  Mix batter batter on low speed until combined for about 3 minutes.

5.  Add in cubed butter and mix until just coated with flour.

6.  Add eggs 1 at a time until fully combined.

7.  Slowly add milk and vanilla to cupcake batter until completely combined, scraping down the bowl as you mix.

8.  Fill baking cups to about 2/3 full.

9.  Bake until a cake tester or toothpick inserted in the center comes out clean, usually about 17 to 20 minutes.

10.  Cool and decorate as desired.
